Jon & Maia’s place was exactly what we were looking for: a beautiful place in a peaceful area. It was very relaxing and we had plenty of hikes around the place that were easy with our two young kids.

We spent a wonderful week at this place. Close to two beautiful lakes, where you can go swimming/fishing/canoeing and close to a forest where you can find mushrooms. The place is very cozy and the communication was flawless. 😊

We spent - despite a cold and rainy week - a very wonderful and relaxing week at Maja‘s & Jon‘s house. Since it is very large (and full of musical instruments), we didn‘t get bored. Our highlights: The (tuned) piano, the Hollywood swing (in the afternoon sun), the large kitchen, the rooved veranda (for the first coffee in the morning sun - at least in theory😆). The whole house has been carefully and tastefully restored and exudes the spirit of days gone by in the best possible way. We totally like it and felt very comfortable. For travellers who appreciate this (and are happy to put up with minor drawbacks such as warped windows and doors), we recommend the house without any ifs and buts. Our tips for a little programme: visit the coffee shop in the neighbouring house at the weekend (ÖSTANAS CAFÉ & TYST TRÄDGARD) and the Alma Löv Museum. And of course, go for a walk in the beautiful woods on the doorstep.

This is a fantastic house, which I truly recommend to anyone looking for something beyond the average. The house is beautifully situated in a nice (and small) village, close to a lake and small river. We enjoyed being close to nature, and when the weather was bad, it was great to hang out in the house decorated in a very creative and inviting manner.
