Deanna was kind enough to advise us about ferries before we arrived and her info makes getting checked in easy. We loved this little leg of our trip, it’s a quaint little house in a lovely little lakeside community; the setting is so beautiful, everything myself and my teen kids needed to spend time in and on the water. We had a lovely bbq, kitchen was well equipped… played a little basketball and table tennis and took the kayaks for a sunrise pootle… would’ve loved to stay longer. A family was in the apartment upstairs and the host herself in a separate part of the same house and we were aware from the description that it is likely that everyone would hear each other moving around. We could hear upstairs movements and tried as best as possible to be quiet; it wasn’t a problem for us and hope our noise wasn’t a problem for Deanna and her other guests. Excellent location, clean, and easy check in. As described. There are many rules - the trickiest for us was quiet time until 8am. We were travelling with an 18 month old and we found this challenging. Perhaps better suited to older children for this reason but generally very kid friendly and the amenities were great! Everything is well laid out in the welcome binder. The nice and private outdoor patio was the best feature for us.
