The cottage was in a beautiful surrounding and so near the sea. It was a delight to wake up to the sea views. We had the best weather as well. Nicola was very responsive and so any issues we had were resolved quickly. The sea was sandy and great to swim in. We even managed to see a seal. The hot tub was also an added bonus which we enjoyed daily post a swim. We cooked most nights and the lounge/dining area was really great for working and relaxing in. This was one of the best holidays I have had with my family.

Excellent location and a cozy house looking on the beach. Convenient kitchen with all necessary equipment. Cute bedrooms. Nicola is very supportive a responsive. Thank you, Nicola, we had a great time!

Great beachfront property that hosted two families for a half term week, with immediate access to the beach. Clean, comfortable and well equipped, and worth the trip up and down the track with your gear!

With all it's quirkiness Ferrymens Rest was a brilliant honeymoon spot for our young family. So close to the beach it was perfect! Pack light for carrying stuff to the bungalow without any road access and take bin bags with you everytime you leave so they don't mount up would be my advise! Totally worth it for a beautiful view and access to the beach whenever you feel you want to dip you toes in the water. We had a yummy congratulations cake on arrival - nice touch! The bungalow itself was homely, comfortable and kitted out well. Our own fault for not reading properly but we thought the bed in the master bedroom was bigger because the picture makes it look huge but it's a double. We had a problem with the hot water while we were away but we had great communication with the host throughout and it was sorted as soon as it could be. Everything was done to make sure our stay was nothing less than amazing. Thank you
