The house was spacious and comfortable. The view was amazing! Very clean and met all our needs for a great family getaway. We look forward to coming back next year!

A spacious home for our family of 9. We loved the easy access to the beach. The kids found lots of beautiful seashells. The only negative point I had was that the cleaning crew arrived after us. Granted, we were there early, at 3:20 p.m., which is before the 4:00 p.m. check-in time. We waited in our car while they cleaned. They managed to finish cleaning at 3:58 p.m. Their rushed cleaning job was noticeable and obvious.

We got in late and had already eaten dinner so the husband and kids went to make a fire and have s’mores. If you stay here watch the fire because the hose is too short and won’t reach if the fire gets out of hand and the grass is really long. While they did that I went to cut up watermelon for the next day. In looking for something to catch the cut up pieces we found a big blue bowl that still had popcorn oil in the bottom. I decided to use something I brought. The knife still had food on it and the cutting board was not clean either so both needed to be washed before using. The description wasn’t clear that you have to walk through the bunk bed bedroom to get to the downstairs unit. Not good for sleeping littles. Thankfully we had teens and only needed 3 beds as some of my party decided not to go. I messaged the homeowner with questions and never heard back at all which was disappointing. The King sized bed squeaked with any movement whatsoever. While comfortable sleeping was impossible. The next morning I went to make pancakes before we started our day and the bowl I picked for that still had dried batter in the bottom from previous use and looking for measuring cups they have a 1/4 cup and 2/3 cup and that’s it. Then my husband grabbed a glass from the cupboard for something to drink and found lipstick on it. We all decided staying there any longer was a bad idea and packed up and got out of there early. Yeah it’s got beach views and a great supply of board games but it was absolutely not worth paying the $1000 for one night here. I agree the owners should stay here to see what’s missing. Coffee pot and no coffee. It was really a barebones stay. Won’t recommend or be back.
