We had a fabulous week at Adam's cottage. This was our second time staying here. The dock is beyond perfect, the firepit is mostly sheltered from the wind, and the beds are all cozy. We had loons over for coffee every morning, and even the day it thunderstormed was good because we were surrounded by boardgames. We bbq-ed almost all our food, but the kitchen had everything we needed for the stove and oven too. The laundry is such a great bonus, and not just because I jumped off the dock twice a day and used it ro speed dry my towel. We are already counting down the days until we can go back.

As secluded as it can get. Beautiful view of the lake, biggest deck you will ever see, this property feels like a true cottage country getaway. I would recommend you go with family and/or some friends who can stay low key and enjoy a good time. There are lots of neighbours who appreciate the quite and peace of the North. I made a mistake of booking this with a few friends , who didn’t know how to keep the volume low in the evenings, but the hosts were accommodating nevertheless. One thing to note is, you have to be careful to walk down to the deck as the rocks on the way can be steep and slippery when wet.

It will be very difficult for anyone to find a better dock and a better view… it’s really first rate. The living room is pretty much all glass and has very good views as well. If your balance is not good getting down to the dock may be a challenge… It’s not very steep, but it is uneven and with no railing The beds are very good quality for a cottage, but in general the bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms represent “old cottage country” from 30 or 40 years ago If you get good weather you should be very happy… There’s also a good number of water toys to play with. If you don’t have a good weather forecast be sure to bring a laptop with some entertainment on a USB stick because their television does not play from a USB and they ask you not to stream entertainment

We had a wonderful family vacation at this location. We spent most of our time on the massive dock. Our kids loved paddle boating in the quiet bay and jumping off of the dock all day long. The location is PERFECT! Quick boat rides to Bala and Port Carling for some patio dining and shopping. Adam also responded immediately to our questions. He truly wants you to have a great stay at his cottage.
