We had a lovely stay here for the weekend whilst we had a wedding to attend in the area! It was lovely and ideal with beautiful surroundings!

This Shepherds hut is in a wonderful secluded area, that is close (only a short drive) to many beautiful walks and towns. Sam is a great host who is very welcoming. He ensured everything was ready for us upon arrival, and despite arriving late, was ready to greet us and show us around! The scenery is blissful, with many birds feeding right outside the hut. Despite the rainy and windy weather, Sam made sure the hut was warm upon arrival and had set up the wood burner for us. Throughout our stay we felt comfortable and cosy, it was lovely to get away from the busyness of everyday life. The kitchen was clean had everything we needed to cook simple meals and store food, the bathroom was also nice and clean. Although, there are a few creepy crawlies around, but this can’t be helped with the rural area and old stones of the cottage! Overall, this location provides a lovely relaxing retreat, with a sense of coziness and bliss. It was great to be so close to nature. Thank you 😊

We had the most lovely stay in Sam’s Sheperd’s hut, surrounded by adorable playful sheep and gorgeous views! Everything surpassed our expectations, from the well-equipped kitchen to the private bathroom including a heated shower! We can’t thank Sam and Helena enough and we will definitely be returning :)

This Shepherd’s Hut was just beautiful and tranquil. If you’re looking for something off the beaten track with beautiful surroundings this is for you. We arrived and Sam welcomed us and showed us around his farm, the kitchen was great, loved the farm style and the barn door. Modest but fully functioning kitchen! All great quality appliances, but with a rustic barn style feel. The bathroom was round the corner from the kitchen and it was so cute! The little quirks of the bathroom were so brilliant. Shower was hot and clean. But honestly the star of the show was the hut. A lovely peaceful area, daffodils on arrival and a tidy space to relax. Lovely touches like the kettle on the wood burner, the fairy lights made it so cosy! We loved listening to the radio in the morning and watching the birds feed. We couldn’t make too much use of the outside as it did snow but did sit out there for a cuppa in the sun on the last day. Absolutely splendid! Thanks again.
