Situated in a south facing corner of a paddock with its own garden and lovely views' ‘The Waggon’ was completed in 2018, using old and repurposed materials. Stained glass windows and polished hardwood panelling are blended with mod cons, it is full of character. Well equipped with en suite shower room, kitchen area, wood burner for the chilly weather plus a separate spacious storage shed for bikes coats and muddy boots! The paddock is part of our smallholding. We keep sheep, chickens, and ducks along with Archie the horse. Quite often chicks, lambs and ducklings will be around. Some or all of these will be within the view (although there is a fence to keep them from bothering guests). With all this, sadly we cannot allow guests to bring their pets. The Waggon is close to the stables but retains its privacy so we shall not disturb you as we go about our jobs. Parking is provided for a car and a separate shed allows secure storage for bicycles and somewhere for wet clothes and boots. There is a private mown grass access path. The Waggon has an outside light which you are welcome to leave on but a torch is also useful after dark. The Waggon is strictly no smoking inside or outside.
