Great host and very friendly. Gretchen will do what she can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. It is sort of a wild area so dress your body and mind appropriately.

Beautiful place. Quite a drive but worth it.

First and foremost, this was a last minute booking. It didn’t not disappoint. We knew the was cabin small. It’s was a studio type. I booked the property with full knowledge of this. But my family booked it for the location and honestly the creek. (During our stay we found out we were also paying for premier hospitality). The pictures are pretty much accurate. Location: The creek was gorgeous. I am a big fisherman and the creek had wild rainbow trout. We even caught a monster 12inch wild creek trout. Lots of cat fish. Lots and lots of crawdads. The place is very secluded and just a fun place to explore. The surrounding area isn’t professionally landscaped and it’s more if you’re down to get with nature. Like this is adventure paradise. They had a big firepit and the hosts were kind enough to provide firewood. Could also use a little bit more clean up. But wasn’t a deal breaker. The Cabin: It got a little tight here and there while in the cabin. (This was expected.) The kitchen and bathroom are separated by a curtain. I don’t recommend the property for young kids or accident prone individuals. Be aware where you step, it is common sense when you are out in nature. I’m not sure what people expect for true rustic cabin but this is what I expected. Could use a little more TLC, we worked with it. Like nothing about the cabin was super dejecting. It’s a 300 some square feet cabin, it forced my family to get even closer. Haha. The bathroom shower though was pretty great. Host: The owners were lovely people. Super sweet and accommodating which tripled the quality of our stay. We were not needy guests and somehow they found ways to go above and beyond on providing us services that we weren’t even aware we wanted. Would love to see more TLC to the property as a whole. It has a lot of potential and it’s just a super gorgeous property. :)
