This cottage is such a find! It’s located on the marsh in a beautiful neighborhood with the best view I’ve ever had. Magical. Very private and quiet, surrounded by nature. Very convenient and close to downtown restaurants and shops. Has everything you need for the perfect vacation. The price is right and it’s even more beautiful than the pictures. From the moment we walked into the cottage, we felt very fortunate to have discovered it. Ellie is a wonderful host and we are counting the days until our return.

Ellie’s place was perfect for our week vacation in Beaufort- it was even better than we could’ve imagined & pics don’t even do this gorgeous property justice- so peaceful, amazing views & all the amenities we needed! Ellie was so kind & thoughtful with extra touches of bread & jam & eggs & creamer in fridge upon our arrival & we loved using her bikes to go into downtown! Pigeon Point is one of our favorite neighborhoods & Ellie has an amazing property! We will be back can’t imagine staying anywhere else now! Thank you, Ellie!
Fabulous property and great host. Exactly like the pictures and description. Very peaceful and well equipped with lots of little kitchen/pantry extras so that we didn't need to hassle buying salt or coffee filters or ... - just that little bit of extra convenience and homeliness. Highly recommended
Family had a great stay, would highly recommend. If we ever find ourselves back in Beaufort we will look to stay here again!

I was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois, where I saw STAR WARS 27 times at the movie theaters (way before Net flicks, digital movies or U tube), I ran around barefoot all summer, went to school and dreamed of modeling and acting. In my twenties I actually did become a runway model. I worked in Paris and Milan, then started a temporary tattoo company in Chicago called THE TATTOO LADY. I moved to LA to act where I became the Alka Seltzer girl in television commercials. A fun journey for a girl from Peoria, Illinois. Today I enjoy being a hostess with the mostess. I love Beaufort! It’s the jewel of the Low Country! I live life with gratitude and gusto getting out in the water as often as possible. My family and I get excited about travel, hiking, swimming, surfing, biking and playing in the front yard. My motto is: "Have fun, all the time, every time!". Our little neighborhood of Pigeon Point rocks and I can't imagine living anywhere else. Five things we can't live with out? Falling asleep to the sound of the oysters clicking shut, surfing, the fine dining in our great lil’ city, traveling to tropical destinations like Costa Rica, El Salvador, Punta Mita, all the Hawaiian Islands where we love to ....SURF!
