Lovely location, very quiet.
Had a very nice few days. Hosts were very welcoming, and the accommodation was just as had been advertised. Good kitchen allowed for cooking at home rather than needing to go out for dinner, and the log fire was very welcome in the evenings (the house was also well heated, but we had been out in the cold all day so the extra cosiness from the fire was appreciated). All in all, suited our needs exactly. Many thanks.
Wonderful barn conversion,done to a very good standard . Very well equipped throughout .Comfy beds,quality bed linen and pillows.Kitchen had all we needed and more to produce all the meals we needed. However there were 8 adults in our group and a larger or second fridge would have been useful rather than a freezer which we hardly used. Log burner and good central heating kept us warm. A generous supply of logs was provided. Wonderful views from the property and easy and ample parking. The only thing that let the building down a little was the quality and efficiency of the showers. In one of the rooms the shower head was mounted very low and the electric shower kept cutting in and out causing intermediate hot and cold showers,this may have been due to low water pressure to the building as we noted that the flow from the taps was slow and toilet flush systems took time to refill. All in all a great stay and would recommend.
This was the perfect property for our group. Great facilities, nice proximity to Builth Wells, and a super smooth process throughout. Would love to return!
