The lake house was exactly what we needed for a fun getaway with 4 families. While it was smaller than we would've liked, it checked all the boxes: spacious open kitchen, ample sleeping spaces (4 bedrooms plus two living areas with 4+ pullouts), right on the water, great boat dock with boat lift, flat grassy front yard with lots of outdoor seating, fenced/gated lake access for added kid safety, hot tub, huge array of water toys / life jackets, clean bathrooms / linens, parking for 4 vehicles, nearby amenities, big garage, ping pong table, lawn chairs, and friendly neighbors. I couldn't have asked for a better rental overall! One complaint that the first friend who arrived had was that the kitchen counters, carpets and tile floor were dirty. She took photos & cleaned up as much as she could so I didn't see it all for myself, but I did notice that the carpets and floor were pretty dirty and could use a good mopping/vacuum/steam cleaning to make that one issue better. I'd rent again!

The house was great. Very spacious and enough room for our group to move around easily. The view was gorgeous. The fishermen in our group were able to fish on the boat dock and caught a few catfish and crappy. We definitely utilized the kitchen and grill. A few things to mention, the beds and pull-outs could use an upgrade. One of the pull-outs downstairs we couldn't open to use. The kitchen knives weren't too sharp. We ended up buying our own set when we went to the store. Besides that everything else was great. Plenty of pillows and blankets.

The place is clean and comfortable. The lake scene from the house is beautiful. The neighborhood is like a quiet small town, there is just one burger/ snack place around. For cooking, the kitchen did not have the baking containers or foil or wrap, so be prepared to bring disposable aluminum containers and extra utensils you may need. For a winter stay, the heater on the second floor is much warmer than the one on the first level. The hot water on the second floor was kinda lukewarm. Overall we enjoyed the stay. Thank you.
