Great host. Great house and beautiful amnesties. Highly recommended for your next visit. We will definitely be coming back.
Lovely home on the lakefront. Had a great time in the hot tub and sitting on the dock even in the rainy winter (did not do any water sports). Well stocked for the most part in the kitchen, towels and essentials. There was a Walmart 10 min away for other necessities like extra trash bags, aluminum foil, etc. Keep in mind that it gets chilly in the winter and that the main heater is a standalone, immovable heater that doesn’t quite reach some spaces. A smaller heater on wheels was provided for upstairs. But if you have a fire going in the beautiful fireplace, it will help keep the upstairs toasty. All in all a good time and we would return!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at the lake house. We enjoyed the gorgeous view, the jacuzzi, the trail that goes around the lake (5min South of the property), the cosy living room and chimney! Sherrie and Chris were very helpful and responsive. The house has a bunch of notes to give instructions on how to do things, which was great. I highly recommend their house for a friend or family trip, including doggies :)
Sherrie and Chris’s place was a wonderful retreat after days at wineries and out and about. It is exactly as described and beautiful! The home was exactly what three sister in laws needed for our retreat!
This lake house was beautiful. The pictures do not do the view justice! My friends and I enjoyed morning coffees on the deck and reading by the fire at night. The hot tub was perfectly tempered for a cool fall evening. The home is a two-story house with most bedrooms on the basement floor, however, it was really nice to have a bedroom and bathroom on the main level for our older guests. The place was only about 15 minutes from town and set against some spectacular vineyards. We would definitely recommend this place to a larger group wanting a secluded getaway near the city.

We are Sherrie and Chris. Originally from Singapore, Sherrie has an architectural background and loves to design and manage projects. Chris is born and bred in East Bay and a self proclaim smart home geek, loves off-roading, camping and playing the bass. We love the great outdoors and especially the water. Chris proposed to Sherrie on a paddle board in Marin. Since our wedding in Bass Lake, Yosemite, it has been our dream to own a house by the lake. We finally found a beautiful lake house who we named after our grandpa, Norman. He built 3 houses in Clearlake back in the 60s. We are so excited to share this lakeside experience with you and we hope you enjoy every minute of your time here, like we do. Go on, be a lakeaholic!
