We loved our time here. Olympos is a special town. We stayed in off season and we’re the only tourists in the village. A short walk for some food, coffee or beers at Nikos’ restaurant who was a gentleman. Be aware in off season to bring plenty of cash as the ATM closes from Oct-April and there isn’t one on Diafani. You could consider the accommodation old fashioned but it’s simply an authentic Olympos house. This is not a modern village, but one cut off from modernity for a long time. RE the complaints of mold, we didn’t see any mold. The house is damp, but this is not specific to the house but is prevalent in Olympos. Even when you take a seat at a restaurant in the evenings you will notice that the seat and tables are wet and your car windows will be soaked in the morning. It just comes with the amazing location and weather, so I don’t think the accommodation deserves any specific criticism in this regard. The balconies are amazing and I will picture myself reading there with a coffee and the sun coming over the mountains for a long time.

The apartment is a nice place to stay if you want to stay in Olympos. The village itself it’s a real gem of Karpathos. The apartment is located in the central street of the small village, easy to have access and easy to find. It was spacious and the in the group floor you could find the real and traditional Karpathian house, however there were some issues worth noting. The apartment was not clean at all, the interior and exterior as well. We stayed for 5 nights and there was no cleaning services and no change of the bedroom shits and towels. On top of that, in the group floor there was a lot of humidity and an unpleasant smell, which made our stay somehow difficult. The WiFi was ok on the ground floor but not enough for the top floor where the main bedrooms are located. Due to the central location of the apartment, there was a little noise from the tourists walking outside. Lastly, we never met the owner and there was nobody to welcome us.

Very spacy and traditional decorated house in the middle of the village. Great views from the terrace. Absolutely recommended.

Allotjament molt recomanable: ubicació molt cèntrica, amb estances àmplies, molt ben equipat, i amb unes vistes inmillorables des de les tres terrasses que disposa la vivenda. Amfitriona molt facilitadora. Si podem, intentarem repetir!!

The house was in an excellent location, in the center of the village - We loved the view from the upstairs balcony and the wonderful people of Olymbos. Unfortunately, the house has a serious mold problem and needs more thorough cleaning and maintenance.
