A group of 9 celebrated my wife’s birthday at Chimera and we couldn’t be happier with Hal and Sandy’s house. Perfectly situated on the river and they are awesome hosts. Being able to launch on the river from their other home (pet friendly Meraki) was just an added bonus. Hal and Sandy are awesome hosts and provide tons of local recommendations and how to get around the river. Highly recommend Chimera and hope to be back one day!

Hal and Sandy’s location is one of the top places to stay when hanging out at Rainbow river. The house is magnificent, the area is not crowded, and the access to the river is a major highlight. I wish I had planned a longer vacation, and intend to extend the stay upon our future return!

WOW! We're the lucky ones for finding a weekend that wasn't already booked! Hal & Sandy are overly generous with their (multiple) river-front Airbnbs...we've already booked another weekend in 2025! The house is spacious, clean, has everything you need for a large group to gather for a fun weekend on the river.

This was an amazing house. Hal went out of his way to make this trip special. This house has everything you need to enjoy the river. The game room was great. Loved the jukebox. Location is perfect. We plan on staying here again. Cant say enough good things about this stay.

Hal and Sandy’s was immaculate. Our family enjoyed the game room, the view and kayaking the most. Got to see so many sea creatures, and animals during my stay. Our family is so excited to book again. We cannot wait. 100% recommend.
