Our families second time to this slice of paradise. We absolutely love this location! Mary Ann is so kind and caring and goes the extra mile to make us feel welcomed as if we are an extension of her family. This is by far my favorite place to get away from all the hustle and bustle and just relax. We spent most of our days on the river kayaking, paddle boarding, tubing, swimming, and sitting on the dock watching the beautiful animals. My family has made so many wonderful memories here and we are so thankful to have stayed here two years in a row.

Loved the house, it is perfect for two couples and magnificent for us three! The pictures don’t do the house justice, it’s much cuter in person and the grounds are absolutely lovely, very private, and away from the hustle and bustle of the headwaters. Shannon and Mary Ann were able to work with us on renting the canoe on for the trip which we appreciated and highly recommend. There were no checkout instructions per the owner so we could enjoy ourselves up to the last minute as well and that was awesome. There did seem to be a bit of mold in the AC units but it is an older river house so it was slightly expected and something for more sensitive people to be aware of. We would absolutely stay again and if you do, enjoy and fill yourself with all the beauty this river has to offer.

We had those most amazing time! From the beautiful cool waters of the river to all the amazing wildlife we got to see. There was very little cell service and we welcomed it! The location of the house was absolutely perfect and sitting on the dock was my favorite thing to do. We fished, kayaked, swam, played badminton, had a fire and ate s’mores. The house is unique and the description was accurate and has almost everything you could need. Thank you for renting this amazing place to us!!

We had a fabulous time at Mary Ann’s river house. Shannon (co-host) is easy to communicate with. They were flexible with a few requests which made our family vacation even more enjoyable. As described, the river house is original construction, decor, and feel. The window air-conditioning units call work fabulously. The cool air and breeze in the backyard and along the river keep the bugs away. In the middle of the summer, we had no issues with mosquitoes in the backyard along the river.
