This cottage is small and simple. The land ia extensive and beautiful. No extras but everything you need to enjoy the nature all around you. This place is special to us as long time renters here. Its a great place to be with family and close friends. Friendly caretaker too ~

Really beautiful private property with lots of space for our dog to run around and explore. There's lake access from multiple vantage points as the property is essentially surrounded by the lake, which is really peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed including appliances, cooking and eating utensils. All around a great stay.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us! It was everything a cottage should be – small, simple, and well secluded. The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful property, which was large and park-like with grass and mature trees, shady areas, sunny areas, and fun little trails cut through the forest. We could let the dog run free with no worries. There was a nice fire pit near the water where we could watch the sunset over Buckhorn Lake. The cottage was clean and well maintained and the furniture was newer and in good condition. Thanks for a great vacation!

Had a nice time. Very basic place. Didn’t provide things like hand soap. We’re lucky to have brought our own. The property is huge. Not any neighbours close by. Lots of room for games and fun and a dog to roam around. Unfortunately the chairs by the fire were broken so we had to move the picnic table down there. This is a cottage i would personally only go to in the fall. The property is almost all shade and no “beach” area. The water is very weedy I wouldn’t swim in it, that’s why I’d only come during fall. The cottage was pretty clean. Yeah Some cob webs but that’s to be expected. There was a hot tub but it looked like it hadn’t been used in a very long time. If the hot tub was working this would be the PERFECT fall getaway. You get what you pay for as far as “extras”. For the price, I am very happy with our stay.
