What a beautiful home from home! Alison was a wonderful host, generous and kind, and the accommodation was truly special. If you are reading this, then do not hesitate to book! The location is perfect - close to amenities, to Inverness, and to many tourist attractions and activities, but when you are 'home' you could be a million miles from anywhere and just soak up the stunning countryside, along with the friendly sheep, horses, donkeys, rabbits and other passing wildlife. Total heaven. Thank you Alison!

If you enjoy farm stay, that too near everything, this is the place. What a location, mountains and greenery all around. Only sounds are birds chirping, hoarse neighing. Large gardens and very large living area for your kids to play.

Don’t miss out on this great place. What a lovely spotless place. We relaxed enjoyed and wanted to stay longer. So clean so spacious. Pictures don’t do it justice. Alison is so kind and attentive. Great experience!

This rental is magical! It is close enough to the city but far enough away that you don’t feel like you’re ten minutes away from the city center. The accommodations are exquisite. The photos don’t do it justice. The water pressure is excellent, beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Bathrooms and kitchen are fully renovated. The flooring is local slate and it’s HEATED flooring! Super swank for us!!! The outdoor landscape is beautiful…mountains, tall tall trees, flowering shrubbery, sheep, donkeys, ducks, horses…but doesn’t smell like a farm….it smells like the purest air you’ve ever breathed. We took our 76 year old mother, and she was able to easily maneuver the house, driveway, and yard (garden). If you want yo stay in a local Highland Home and be centrally located to see and travel but rest in the same bed every night, this is the best place. I hope to visit every other year. The hosts are the sweetest, most genuine souls…we are blessed to have crossed paths with them by renting their place. We will return.
