What a wonderful experience! It was my girlfriend's birthday while we were there and a lovely touch from Adoni to gift us a bottle of champagne to celebrate the occasion. Didi, the property manager, was friendly and informative and very helpful making our stay as comfortable as possible. We also got engaged during our stay, so this place will always hold beautiful memories for us and we are sure to return. Thanks for a lovely few days Adoni, you have a little gem of a place in the African bushveld!

From the moment we arrived at The Love Shack, we were enveloped in a cocoon of comfort and tranquility. The chalet, nestled amidst breathtaking scenery, was a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. Each morning, we awoke to the melodious symphony of nature, and evenings were spent under the stars, with the chalet becoming our own little haven of peace. The attention to detail, from the impeccably maintained rooms to the delightful culinary offerings, did not go unnoticed. Our experience at The Love Shack was truly exceptional, and it's a place that we would highly recommend to anyone seeking a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We left with hearts full of joy and memories that will last a lifetime. We can't wait to return to what we now fondly call our 'home away from home.'

A great place to stay when in need of a getaway out of the city. Honestly a 5 star experience. It it self catering and provides you with all the necessary items to make your stay easy. Ensure you bring enough food though as stores are 15+ mins away due to the dirt roads you have to navigate. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. The random encounter with monkeys and baboons reminds you that you are in nature, so definitely keep stuff away, lock up when leaving & dont feed the monkeys. Didi the host was always there via watsapp to answer any questions. Will definitely come back later in future. Ps. If your GPS leads you into "Mountain Sanctuary Park", you are lost. thats the next dorr estate.

the Love Shack did not disappoint one bit. The location and view is stunning and private. if you're looking to be immersed in nature and disconnecting for a few days, then this is an ideal location not at all fat away from JHB. Adoni's instructions and communication with Didi (the caretaker in the reserve) was always helpful, clear and friendly. We had a lovely stay and will definitely look to visit again.
