Dan’s place is in transition. The other people staying there were very kind, the kitchen was great. Most of the property was affected by wildfire so not ideal for walking on trails and exploring. The building was in good shape and as described once it was prepared for us. It’s a decent walk to the half moon home from where you park. That was a bit of a surprise.

The half moon cabin was super cute and cozy. The whole village is amazing. I reached out last minute to book the same day and Dan was responsive and accommodating. Make sure to message Dan to confirm the check in and get the directions on how to get there before attempting to show up. The instructions we received were spot on and the place was easy to find when following the directions. This was a super unique experience and perfect for nature lovers or people that enjoy camping. There are several pets and the half moon cabin is a perfect spot to stay if you are a cat lover as it seemed to be the cats favorite spot (she came in and cuddled us). The description of the cabin and eco village is accurate so make sure to read it throughly. This is not a hotel or anything fancy but absolutely exceeded our exceptions and was definitely the coolest Airbnb experience I have had. Everyone was friendly and we loved the community kitchen (:

Wir sind so glücklich, dass wir in dem eco village gelandet sind! Leider hatten wir nur eine Nacht Zeit aber nichtsdestotrotz hat es sich gelohnt. Wunderschöne und abenteuerliche Landschaft und ein beeindruckendes Projekt. Hoffentlich irgendwann wieder!
