This is an amazing location for Royal Mile and Albert’s seat. The room was as described with the shared facilities. Unfortunately however there was a strong quite unpleasant smell coming from the communal kitchen which spread around the flat

The location was great and very convenient for touring around Edinburgh.

The location was great and central to a lot of places, an easy walk up the hill to all the must see places of old town, while the other direction led to Arthur’s seat. The room is perfect , very large and spacious for a room though the bed was a bit springy. The space has 3 bedrooms and all were taken when we stayed , I had originally booked the other room for 2 people and when the host replied he mentioned that the original room I asked about was now taken and sent me the link for the other available room , unfortunately this link was only for one person so the good deal I though I was getting was gone after I booked and he saw it was 2 people, he sent me a updated booking fee of an extra $50aud ! I think that was pretty expensive considering it was only 1 night and all I got for it was an extra towel. All in all a great location and room but unfortunate about the price hike and full house of 4 guests in a generally small unit.

Trust me I've stayed in many places from 3☆ to 5☆ this was wonderful if you're using public transport perfect place as a base, if you're driving be warned parking is a nightmare, you will also need deep pockets, Edinburgh parking will cost you more then a family Domino's pizza deal... that's the only drawback I found, as I say use public transport & this is the perfect little den for a weekend break, I'll be going again Phil...😎.

Well located. Pretty bare bones but is a good value if you don’t plan to spend much time there other than sleeping, it’s not the quietest due to the street and being a shared space.
