The cabin was more than what we expected from the photos. It is in a perfect location with lots to do in the surrounding area. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants. The hammock and balcony overlook the jungle and you can view wildlife right from the door. It’s modest, but has everything you need. We loved our stay. Thank you Pamela and Luis!

Stayed two nights in this charming rustic cabin. The porch was wonderful to sit on and enjoy the surrounding nature. Included all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. If you enjoy nature and a camping experience - you will enjoy this place.

From sharing their knowledge about the area and local traditions, to engaging in ecotourism and nature conservation activities, these residents are truly committed to caring for the natural environment!
Did you also know that most of the small businesses and enterprises in "El Pilon" are owned by women? (out cabin included) From small grocery stores to restaurants and tourist guide companies, these women are doing incredible things. Supporting these local businesses is an excellent way to contribute to the local economy and ensure an authentic and truly local experience.

To reach the location easily you can travel via Cañas (Guanacaste) by searching in Waze "Restaurante Tapirus Paradise" you enter that ballast street and from there you are 400 meters from the house (which you will find to your right)
If you need a taxi, please let us know, there's no bus from Bijagua to Río Celeste.
If you decide to travel via San Carlos, then 400 meters or 0.25 miles you will have to turn right, to a ballast street. There you are 600 meters from the house (which you will find to your right)
