What a beautiful setting and a wonderful place to stay! Everything was top-notch, from the check-in to the linen to the attention to detail...did I mention the fireplace? We cannot wait to return!

Absolutely breathtaking views. Right on the Palmiet river. If you have a canoe bring it with because you can go on the most scenic row. It’s so peaceful here..The house was stylish and cosy. Big fire place to warm up by if it’s cold. Kitchen has everything you need and bed and bathroom is comfortable and clean. We had such a lovely stay. Debra and James were lovely hosts too.

This idyllic lakeside home is the perfect off the beaten track getaway but merely an hour or so from Cape Town. What a special weekend away!

Was a very beautiful and tranquil space. If you are looking for a getaway from the world, this is definitely it. It’s deep in the beautiful mountains. It was exactly what we were looking for. This is truly a place you will go to, to unwind and relax. The signal wasn’t good but we should have expected it being so deep in the mountain. Besides that they were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be going there again.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage! Beautiful and peaceful! The cottage was lovely furnished and very well equipped for a self catering weekend. Debra was always very helpful and responsive. We would love to go back!
