This was the PERFECT get away ! One of my good friends and I stayed here for just an stress-free and quiet weekend and it did not disappoint!! Sam had some FARM FRESH eggs and some goat soup and a nice welcome binder. It was wonderful . Thank yall again!

Clean and comfortable cabin in a great location. Great bed!! I loved relaxing with all the windows looking out to the woods. I felt like I was in a tree house. The kitchen was large and well equipped. I wish I could have stayed longer! Sam was a great host - helpful and responsive.

Such a great spot off the beaten path. So close to the gorgeous gardens, calm and amazing scenery. Secluded in the trees and hidden, absolutely perfect! Thank you for sharing your amazing hunter’s hideaway.

Great stay at Sam's place! We were right done the road from FDR State Park which was perfect!! That was our reason for going to Pine Valley. House was super clean and surrounded by woods. The back sun room/family room has huge windows that look out over the woods. Super quiet and friendly neighbors. Slept like babies! We went from heat as it was chilly, to AC one evening, then back to heat. We didnt use the outside porch or lower deck as we were mostly hiking in the park, or touring Warm Springs and FDR's Little White House. Great tour, very interesting. Also walked around the downtown and had lunch at 'Moores Whistin'Pig BBQ' restuarant. Great, reasonable food! Such a nice, friendly little town. Sam was super easy to commumicate with, and always quick to respond. Also left fresh eggs in the fridge for us. Would definately go back to the area, and to Sam's place!
