‘Iris Lodge’ is one of three, private lodges situated on the second lake of ‘Venn Lakes’, on the outskirts of Winkleigh. The lodge has its own, private garden and hot tub, which is not overlooked, and has parking alongside. Coarse fishing is available for an additional £20 per 24 hours for up to two of your own rods per person. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, at a maximum number of two. The lodge features a king-sized bed, and a sofa bed suitable for one person. It has an ensuite shower/toilet room, small dining table and chairs, fully-equipped kitchen with coffee machine, smart TV, and wifi. You are able to fish directly from your lodge. You are also permitted to fish on a peg at the start of the first lake, which is home to our larger carp. (The first lake contains carp upto 32lbs, the second lake (on which ‘Iris Lodge’ is situated, contains carp upto 20lbs).

We loved our stay here! A beautiful lodge with amazing views over the lake. Lovely little touches left by the host. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others and return if we will have the occasion. Host left us a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy in the hot tub which was lovely. Thank you for having us !

What a place to live and Relax. Nice, quite and very clean.
We had a fabulous time at Sophie and Rob's glamping unit for our anniversary! The lodge was very well-equipped, exceptionally clean, and the bed was incredibly comfy. The hot tub was a dream, and the private garden was perfect for our dog to roam around safely. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, watching the wildlife, including ducks and Canada geese. Although we didn't fish this time, the lakes looked promising with the fish appearing to be huge. We'll definitely be back! Sophie is a great host, and we highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway. Prepare to be blown away. 🌟🏕️🐾

'Iris Lodge' is situated between the picturesque villages of Winkleigh and Dolton. There is a wealth of pubs serving excellent food in nearby villages a short drive away. Likewise, there are many scenic dog walks a short drive away.
Guests are able to drive to their lodge and park alongside. Driving is essential to reach nearby villages.
