This lakeside lodge allows fishing directly from the accommodation, with carp upto 32lbs. The garden is fully-fenced for dogs (apart from the front elevation, which extends to the lake, if dogs are prepared to swim out). The garden comprises a 3-person hot tub. The lodge boasts a roomy, zinc-clad shower, with coffee machine in the kitchen, fridge/freezer, oven/hob, and all the mod cons. Additional £20 for up to 2 of your own rods per 24 hours. Maximum of 2 dogs. Lilly Lodge is situated on the bank of the first of two lakes. It is the only lodge on this lake, which also accommodates the largest carp. You are able to fish from Lilly Lodge, or elsewhere on the first lake, if desired.

The best place ever. Had everything what I wanted. I was able to catch few really nice carps. And after long walks I was able to use jacuzzi to relax. Very peaceful and quiet place if you want to escape from the town.

Amazing place with the perfect host. Some real personal touches within the cabin. It was so much more than we expected. True love and dedication shows within the place. Venn Lakes is situated outside of the village of Winkleigh. There are many fantastic pubs that offer great quality food, but these are a short drive away. There is a takeaway providing burgers, pizzas, loaded fries, etc. that offer delivery Thurs-Sat.
There are a number of lovely dog walks in the surrounding area, but again, are a short drive away.
You are able to drive to and park next to your lodge.
