Lovely, comfortable place, and so well supplied with anything you could want. Right on the Kentucky River, deer in the yard... My only precaution to potential visitors is the access. There are two roads that could be taken to get to the house, and both are poorly maintained and severely potholed. In our sedan the front air dam scraped the gravel/pavement many times, on both roads. A typical sedan would be borderline, a low sports car...out of the question. Any SUV or truck would be easy. Just something to be aware of if you drive a low car.

I recommend arriving before dark. It is beautiful and private, which also means it's a little hard to spot right away. I was grateful for the clear directions and accurate GPS. The lack of wifi along with the wonderful back porch makes it a place to truly unplug. We had good cell service when we needed to contact the outside world. All in all, it was a great stay.

The view is gorgeous here! It was nice to disconnect with little cell reception. My dogs had a blast playing tag around the property. I’ll definitely be back!
