The Brink is a one-of-a-kind place to stay! You won't find other AirBNBs as unique as the Brink. My Dad's family is from Eastern KY and we spent 40 years traveling to my Grandmother's house for Thanksgiving. We always spent time hiking and enjoying cliffs and scenes like the Brink offers. We had a wonderful holiday here. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. Sitting outside after dinner to enjoy the view was extremely peaceful. We enjoyed walking down to the river several times. You are close to Shaker Town and local hiking areas. Driving into Lancaster is only 15 to 20 minutes away if you need groceries or other conveniences. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathtub in the master bedroom is very relaxing. We can't wait to return during the warmer months to enjoy the river. Fletcher was extremely friendly and responsive. Thanks for making our family holiday so enjoyable.

Lovely relaxing place to unwind and see the gorgeous fall leaves surrounding the property. Delighted to find a journal in the rocks in our walk down to the river. We left a gift and a note to the sweet girl who was clever to leave this treasure. Made us feel special.

Super cool place. But with the amount of cleaning fees they charged and the price of the place. I expect the bed and bathroom to be more clean. The toiletries are expired in Jan 2023 (tho when I brought it up, host told me soap doesn’t expires. Most things in the kitchen cabinet are expired over a year or more too, so I’d be careful with using them). There were dead bugs and cobwebs on towels. We had bedbug issue on one of the twin beds, there was also a dirty sock probably left by previous guests in the bed sheets. So unfortunately we had to cancel our stay after the third night. But thankfully the host send out a case to airbnb and we’re able to checkout early. Really beautiful airbnb out in the nature, the view is great. Just like someone said, the place is a little rough around the edge, everything looks 10x better in pictures, it’s definitely an fun airbnb to explore, but a little bit more work on the details can goes a long way.

Beautiful place! I know it’s rural. Bring your groceries before you come. My wife, as of 27 years as a teacher, needed a break. She kayaked and loved it. I hiked and fished mostly. Hiked up and down to the small boat lunch.

This was one of our top Airbnb stays we have ever experienced and we have traveled all over the US! This home is so unique and full of character. We were even invited to hang out with Fletcher and his friends at their Labor Day gathering, an amazing group of people! Our favorite amenities were the porch swing chair and exploring the Dix in our kayaks.
