Herdwick rests in Retford, Nottinghamshire and sleeps two people in one bedroom. Herdwick has a studio-style living space with a double bed, a kitchenette equipped with a 2-ring induction hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and a dining area. There’s a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC. Gas water heating, air conditioning, fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Outside there’s off-road parking available, and a wraparound garden with lawn, decking, barbeque area, woodburning stove, furniture, and hot tub. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 3.3 miles, pub 2.3 miles. Herdwick is a perfect base for a romantic getaway. Note: There are steps up to property, please take care. Note: Please refrain from playing amplified music to respect other guests on-site. Note: Quiet time on site between 10:30pm & 7am. Note: Sorry, no stag/hen parties or similar. Note: The garden is not enclosed but the perimeter of the site is fenced with a large gated entrance. A real hidden gem, the traditional English Market town of Retford can be found tucked away in the glorious Nottinghamshire countryside. With the beautiful Chesterfield Canal flowing through, this charming community offers a picturesque backdrop for any holiday to this magnificent part of the country. The town itself boasts an abundance of amenities such as a large and well-stocked supermarket, a number of local convenience stores, and a good variety of cafés, pubs and restaurants, together answering all of your self-catering needs. It is here you will also find the Bassetlaw Museum, the Majestic Theatre, and the manicured lawns of Kings Park. The local train station provides easy access to the surrounding towns of Worksop and Doncaster, as well as the medieval city of Lincoln filled with breath-taking landmarks and many wonderful attractions all waiting to be explored. Just a stone's throw away, the RSPB Sherwood Forrest and Treswell Wood make for excellent days out in the great outdoors, whilst those travelling with smaller children should be sure to check out Sundown Adventureland and the Tropical Butterfly House Wildlife And Falconry Centre. A fantastic town from which to explore the very best of Nottinghamshire.
