Situated in the heart of the beautiful castle town, Fron-Hyfryd is a wonderful Harlech holiday cottage with sea views. This newly decorated property boasts coastal views and is a stones throw from the shops, restaurants and cafes of Harlech. With two bedrooms and an additional room suitable for a travel cot, this is a great property for families or a group of friends visiting North Wales. Stepping into the Fron-Hyfryd, a quarry tiled hallway leads through into an open plan living space. To the front of the room, a lounge area is cosy and inviting with a large comfy fabric sofa and large coffee table. A log burner is located on a slate hearth, perfect for those cosy winter evenings and a TV, which is ideal for nights in. Tucked away to the rear of the room, a farmhouse dining table is located in nook near the window. It's a lovely spot for gathering at breakfast or dinner time to plan the day's adventures or just to have a good old catch up. A doorway leads into a well equipped kitchen, with cream coloured kitchen units and wood effect worktops. With a large fridge freezer, oven with electric hob, washing machine and built in dishwasher, there's everything guests would need for a self-catering break. Heading upstairs from the hallway, this Harlech holiday cottage with sea views includes a double room alongside a twin bedroom. The double features a lovely Victorian style metal framed bed situated between a bedside cabinet and chest of drawers. The blue accents of the soft furnishings add a splash of colour to the neutral but warmly decorated room. The second bedroom, a lovely twin room, includes twin single metal framed beds, alongside bedside cabinets and an open storage unit. The soft furnishings in this room have pale shades of green, and the walls are decorated with artwork depicting nature. With an unfurnished small third room upstairs, there is an option to bring a travel cot or small travel bed if required. Completing the layout, the family bathroom includes a large walk in shower cubicle, WC and basin with storage under. Turquoise tiles add a splash of colour to an otherwise classic white decorated room.
The town centre location of this Harlech holiday cottage with sea views is ideal for guests who are looking for hospitality and attractions on the doorstep, without the need for driving. Although located on a steep hill which may not be suitable for those with mobility issues, it's a short walk to the high street and the castle beyond. Harlech has a beautiful town centre, packed full of historic stone buildings now housing boutique shops, cute cafes and deli's. No visit to Harlech is complete without visiting the magnificent 13th century castle in the heart of the town. Built by Edward I, this stunning fortress offers panoramic views of the Bae Ceredigion coastline, across to the Llyn Peninsula and across to the mountains of Eryri. A short distance away, the stunning Harlech Beach boasts golden sands that stretch for miles beneath towering sand dunes. One of the best beaches in North Wales.
With Barmouth 15 minutes south and Porthmadog 15 minutes north, there is no shortage of nearby places to visit. It's also a short drive to the Italianate village of Portmeirion with its stunning architecture and beautifully landscaped gardens. With the Eryri National Park within the twenty minutes, there are plenty of hiking options. The Rhinogydd mountains of southern Eryri are even closer, and much quieter than the honeypot locations in the heart of the national park. On top of this, there are options for mountain biking, zip lining and whole host of other attractions that make North Wales a popular destination to visit.
