We have stayed in many airbnb houses over the years. This place is by far at the top of the list. Magnificent house, wonderful people. We highly recommend this place.
I booked this Airbnb for my in-laws for their weeklong visit to Portland. They are homebodies and have some mobility issues so I wanted to find a place that was single story, cozy, with a full kitchen and a great garden. Wow, did it deliver! The interior is warm, inviting, and climate controlled. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. When it was warm, we sat under the trees in the backyard with the chickens. When it rained, we stayed inside by the fire. We cooked dinner most nights and had everything we needed to make full, complex meals. The beds are cozy, comfortable, with actual linens. The neighborhood is quiet, but not too far a drive from inner Portland for when the in-laws felt adventurous. Every morning a crow named Russell (get it?) came to visit and we fed them peanuts the host provided. We paid for massages from the host who lives next door. So relaxing! Highly recommend staying here if you'd like a quiet retreat after a busy day of sightseeing.
