This is a one bedroom condo, the guest will have the living room with an air mattress on top of a sofa bed, it has a nice little balcony. The space is open,i am living in the bedroom. But you will have the space of the living room to yourself, I am willing to help or less present if you prefer. The condo is within 10 minutes walk to the skytrain(subway)for getting to downtown or airport(half an hour),supermarket,restaurant,food courts, very convenient location,yet very quiet neighborhood. It's an open space connected with bathroom and kitchen,the kitchen is semi separated from the space.the living room area will belong to the guest completely at night,I don't use the bathroom during night. Because there are shared spaces, according to my experiences, guests with more activities in daytime would find this arrangement more comfortable, because they can have the space to themselves completely in the morning/evening/night. However to avoid complaints, for guests who like to stay home all day, kindly advise for them to find private rooms, which would be more comfortable.

Dora's place is easy to reach by skytrain and an easy distance from the airport. Perfect place to stay.

Dora was a considerate host and asked if I needed anything every time she saw me. I had free access to a desk & chair, the bathroom, my bed, and her kitchen/refrigerator. There were other things I likely had access to but I was there on business and was gone from 6 AM to at least 10 PM everyday (essentially just slept & showered there). Overall Dora's place is GREAT value for the money. John
Dora was an excellent host; she is a kind and beautiful woman that constantly looks to be the best host possible. The living space itself was great. It is conveniently located near the Lansdowne Skytrain Station (approx. a 8 min walk), and the countless wonderful shopping/food that Richmond has to offer. Despite the fact that the living space is the living room, there is a lot more space and privacy than one would expect. The host and the apartment itself will provide any traveller with all the necessities. As I am writing this, I am thinking very hard on any downsides or complaints, but I honestly cannot think of a single shortcoming of this place/host. Again, Dora was an excellent host that made this experience a great one, and when I am returning to the Vancouver area, I am definitely booking her spot again!

This is central area of Richmond, it's conveniently connected by skytrain to downtown,Vancouver west,North Vancouver, Etc. it's a quiet and safe residential area, close to transportation and shopping malls, it's ideal for people who don't drive to get around.
However if you do DRIVE: There are plenty of parking space on the street close to my home, or if you just need a space to park your car and prefer getting around with skytrain You can also park in my private garage space.
The necessities are all within walking distance.
There are a lot of varieties when it comes to food.
1. Pricesmart foods supermarket: fresh made takeaway food, fruits and bakeries available at reasonable price(Cad 1-10).
2. Landsdowne Center food courts: pizza, burger, noodles, etc.(Cad 4-10).
3. Richmond Center food courts: fusion.(Cad 6-15)
4. Public Market food courts: Asian food. (Cad 5-10)
5. Numerous restaurants, fast food, Tim Hortons, please check on map.
It's easy to visit Stevenston village in the south of Richmond from here, have some fish & chips, watch the sunset, visit the local fish market, coffee shops, enjoy the afternoon.
Jump on a skytrain headed waterfront ,take a bus or just walk to Stanley park, rent a bike or jog for a while, watch the beavers swim , walk in a forest of over 600 years old trees.
Wanna go hiking? Take the skytrain to waterfront, enjoy the ride on seabus to get to north Vancouver, join the local hikers, you might even encounter a bear...
For a lazy beach afternoon, try English bay, wreck beach, horseshoe bay, or Spanish banks.
