圣安东尼奥 · 整套公寓 · 1室0床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Southtown top-floor studio loft w/ rooftop terrace
Just across the river from King William, this top-floor 700 sq ft studio loft boasts amazing views. Located in a secure complex of privately owned condos & fully furnished with all comforts of home. It's ideal for traveling medical, military, or anyone who's in the city more than a few days who wants to experience Southtown as a local. You'll love the walkable access to shops & restaurants on S Alamo & S Flores, plus walking/biking along the Mission Reach & San Pedro Creek riverwalk expansions. **The Building - South End Lofts** The historic buildings that were converted into South End Lofts date back to the early 1930's. They once home to a chandelier factory and in 1946, they became a lumberyard. The conversion to privately owned condos was done in 2006, and extra care has been taken to maintain the historic character of the exteriors and common spaces. It is a unique and special place in Southtown. **The Complex** Everything is inside secured, access coded gates and complex walls, even your assigned parking is inside the complex, and everything is well lit with 24-hour security cameras located around the property's common spaces. **The loft** The 700 sq ft top-floor unit you will be staying in boasts 13+ foot ceilings with original beams exposed, brick exterior wall, exposed central air/heat duct work, stained concrete floors, rugs, and an abundance of natural light, plus amazing views of the San Antonio downtown skyline from the north facing windows. You can relax in style after a day of work or sightseeing with this view that stretches all the way from the Alamodome, to downtown UTSA campus.
We are located in the Lone Star District of Southtown San Antonio. We are home to art galleries, several museums, lots of restaurants, and unique shops in a very walkable area just south of downtown. So you will have walking or biking access to all the shops and restaurants along South Flores, South Alamo, and Cevallos.
***Riverwalk
Let's talk about the riverwalk because it is so much more than that trendy square in downtown, although that trendy square is less than a mile by foot or bike for you.
But *** We are just across the river (Johnson St. Bridge) from King William. This is one of the most beautiful locations at night, and from Johnson St, you can access the riverwalk that runs through King William from downtown to Blue Star.
** The new San Pedro Creek river expansion is one block to the west of us, and it connects you to Cesar Chavez, which is the side street to Hemisfair. This is where you can access the trendy square I mentioned above, which is a lot of fun!
** The Mission Reach expansion is three blocks to the east of us. It picks up riverwalk at Blue Star and continues over 15 miles to the south along the back side of the San Antonio missions. To me, this is the most amazing part of San Antonio. You can bike from Blue Star all the way to Mission Espada, stopping at missions Concepcion, San Jose, and San Juan along the way. There is an 8 mile stretch from Roosevelt Park to Mission Espada that includes kayaking in addition to biking and walking. There is just so much to see and do along this route, and you can walk to it.
As noted elsewhere, the neighborhood is very walkable all the way to and across downtown. Bikes work well too. And you will find scooters and bikes to rent all around. Ubers are all over and easy to pick up if you want to go over to Pearl.
If you want to head out to the Northside, IH 35 and IH 10 and IH 37 are all accessible three short blocks away.
Our city bus line is exceptional too, and a there’s a bus stop is right out front of our South Flores entrance.
