Welcome to TORIO VACATION VILLA! We are Tracy & Phil. We've designed a fun and relaxing vacation villa for you. The infinity pool with jumping platform, the open-air terrace, the barbecue and aperitif area and the large private garden are all waiting for you. The 6 apartments that make up this villa are located around the swimming pool. Nestled between the Azuero massif and the Pacific coast, you're ideally placed for adventure. [Accommodation managed by "B'ZEN | Entrust us with your keys".] APARTMENT #4 This studio can accommodate up to 2 people. It is located at the beginning of the left wing, in front of the swimming pool. You'll find : - An entrance with 1 table on the right and the kitchen on the left - A bedroom with 1 queen size bed - A bathroom, with 1 large shower and hot water The apartment is equipped with : - air conditioning and ceiling fans - wifi Bed linen, towels, kitchen and pool towels, shower gel and shampoo are provided. The accommodation is equipped to make your stay as independent as possible: - key box - stock of consumables - fully equipped kitchen - welcome guide - cleaning equipment and products

Torio Vacation Villas were a delight. Such a beautiful vista, rugged terrain and then all the modern conveniences in our unit. Very comfortable and extremely clean, the whole property was immaculate, which is hard to do in this sandy, salty country! This review is for 2 units, 4 persons #4 and #6. The pool was incredible and lots of room for lounging both in sun and shade. Very comfortable BBQ and eating area and a great birdwatching spot. Highly recommend a visit! Hope to return. Torio is the second-largest town in the Mariato district.
It's a mainly residential village.
Here you'll find restaurants, fondas (small Panamanian eateries) and bars.
You can also rent electric bike, discover the Rio Torio and its lagoons, see the monkeys in the jungle of the Azuero massif (early in the morning), surf and swim at playa Torio, meet Melissa & Juan the Amazilia soap factory and go horse-riding with Melissa (another one!).
For vegetables and fruit, go to Ray' garden or to the small market just off the Torio bridge. For the rest of your shopping, go to Mariato (7km away).
From the villa, you can walk into the SEA VIEW HILLS estate. The dirt road is used only by local residents, so there's no traffic.
Torio beach and restaurants are 2km from the villa.
You can get there
- on foot in 30 minutes (detailed directions in the welcome guide)
- by car in 5 minutes (parking on site)
The main tarmac road through the district was completed in mid-2023. It can be used without a 4x4.
For your safety, do not walk along the main road.
The nearest bus stop is 2km away, next to the Las Estrella fonda.
From there, hitchhike to local residents. This mode of transport works very well here and is safe.
For your information, buses run every hour. They stop in every town and wherever you want!
You can cover Santiago - Torio by bus in 1h-1h30 without any problem.
