Take the chance to Relax with friends and family at the centuries old Wing. A peaceful Cotswold cottage, nestled on the edge of the Cotswold way, it’s quiet and idilic and full of history! There are an abundance of welcoming country pubs, one in walking distance is The compass inn and many more just a short drive away. We are situated 1 minute from Junc18 off the M4, conveniently situated for journeys into Bath and Bristol, both less than a 25mimute drive. The Wing was once upon a time the original house here at Old Hundred, It was once a one bedroom thatched cottage, it still has a centuries old tree that stands in the middle of the courtyard and an ancient Stone Mountain block sits beside it infront of a row of original stone stables. Old hundred house was then built and it became The Wing of the house. It’s now been made into a separate cottage but lots of the original features still stand including the most beautiful stone fireplace situated In the living room and an ornate large window looking out to its own secret garden.

Beautiful location and property, quiet and private with stunning decor and lovely gardens. Really easy check in with lots of parking options. Totally recommend!
A great little base in the Cotswolds, close to Bristol. It’s much bigger than it looks in the photos and very well maintained. Garden area is gorgeous but it was too cold for us to use the fire pit unfortunately. Liane was very responsive and instructions were great. One warning - the postcode takes you to one road over so put in the full address. There is some noise from the flat upstairs but nothing too bad (the other guests had a baby we could hear in the living room but bedrooms were fine and these things happen)

My stay at Lianne's place was simply wonderful. Lianne's polite and helpful demeanor made our experience all the more enjoyable. The location was truly stunning, and the place itself was immaculate, providing us with the most comfortable night's sleep. The secret garden was a delightful surprise — our son was thrilled by it. Additionally, the thoughtful gesture of a goodie bag with giant marshmallows for roasting over the open fire pit was an absolute highlight. I cannot recommend Lianne's hospitality enough and would not hesitate to book with her again in the future. If you're looking for a beautiful, cozy retreat with exceptional touches, Lianne's place is the perfect choice.

We are set in a wonderfully quiet spot with lots of walking options and The compass inn pub in walking distance to us.
Chipping Sodbury is a lovely picturesque Cotswolds town and is a 7 minute drive away, it’s a lovely high street of shops, cafes, restaurants and an abundance of pubs to choose from!
Yate is also 10 minutes away where you can find a Tesco, Morisons and waitrose.
There is also a Nando’s, kaspers and a cineworld cinema with free parking and plenty more!
Everywhere is easily accessible by car, quiet country roads and plenty of walking routes on your doorstep!
