We recently had a fantastic short stay in a beautiful 4 bedroom house with a garden in Tonbridge, Kent. The house was perfect for our needs, spacious, clean with a very well-equipped kitchen and beautifully furnished bedrooms. We loved exploring the local area, including the medieval castle where we had a lovely picnic. The local lakes were stunning and we enjoyed taking in the scenery. The house and the area were very family-friendly, with a skatepark, football, basketball and tennis courts, a playground, and even crazy golf - ideal for children. We also discovered some great local coffee shops and a fantastic cat café with 20 cats to pet. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Tonbridge.
Tonbridge and its sibling Tunbridge Wells are two of Kent’s finest towns. They both offer historical walks, have an abundance of restaurants and quiet spaces to get away from the hustle. However you’re going to need a base. I cannot recommend our stay with Anthony highly enough. From the outset the photos entice you in. Then there are very helpful instructions and checking in was effortless. I was really touched by the card, the little extras and the warm welcome upon arrival. The house instantly brings a sense of calm. Have I mentioned the four bespoke bedrooms and bathrooms? If you need somewhere comfortable for your kids then look no further. They will love the design of their room. The rest of the house is tastefully designed. Loved the kitchen which is a real focal point of the house. Great showers and it’s really quiet too. Made for a great sleep. Our stay was idyllic and the host really ensured we were well looked after.
