Nestled in the tranquil countryside, Palighar Farm Stay offers a rejuvenating retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of tranquility that enveloped the entire property. The farm's rustic charm adds to its allure, with quaint cottages surrounded by lush greenery and sprawling fields. One of the highlights of our stay was the delectable Nepali cuisine served at the farm. Every meal was a culinary delight, showcasing fresh ingredients sourced from the surrounding area. The authentic flavors and hearty portions left me craving for more. However, it was not just the food that left a lasting impression; the staff's attentiveness and friendliness truly enhanced the overall experience. Whether it was taking us to the local market or simply engaging in casual conversation, their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home.

Palighar is beautiful for quiet days away from home. It’s rustic but has all the needed amenities for a comfortable stay. The traditional food is outstanding and we enjoyed every meal. We were able to walk in and around the place extensively and Kabir also took us on a trek close by.

This place is a true gem. the room sizes, aesthetics, food, cleanliness, hosting- everything was amazing. Every bit of the extra ride from Kalimpong is worth it once you reach here. Kabir and Ahana are sensitive and loving hosts. their approach to hosting is accommodative and flexible. Travellers looking for a genuine farm stay experience will surely love it. Sanjay, their chef will add to your experience immensely. this is a perfect stay for nature lovers, do plan at least for 2-3 nights.
