Domenico and Luisa’s place was amazing. They were both incredibly responsive in the months and weeks leading up to the trip. They gave incredibly detailed instructions for the check in process and location of the flat (very important in Amalfi!) and were so friendly. And the flat itself was wonderful….perfect for our Amalfi vacation. The location was so accessible to shops and restaurants. On two days we took the ferry to Capri and Positano, and it was a quick five minute walk from the flat to the ferry. Finally the view from the balcony: the pictures do not do it justice. We enjoyed pre and post dinner wine every night with amazing views. Thank you! Grazie!

Dolce Vita A is about as perfect a place as you could ask for. It has breathtaking views from every room except the kitchen and it is well stocked with anything you might reasonably need. It is absolutely perfect if you are fit and under 40. If you aren't both of those things it is worth noting you have to go up 70 stone steps to reach the place. The tile floors are very hard, which would have started hurting my knees if I hadn't brought slippers to wear in the apartment. The bed is very comfortable, but it dips slightly in the middle. That got uncomfortable when I tried to sleep on my stomach. None of these minor concerns should keep you from booking this place -- it is truly amazing and we would book it again in a heartbeat. But I was glad I brought the slippers. As if the place wasn't good enough, Luisa might be the most helpful host we've ever had! If this place is available then book it now!
