Most cosiest place!! great to unwind and relax 🥂😌
The boathouse is perfectly located with stunning views from a cosy privately Tucked back position. It’s a stone’s throw from the only eatery which provided a good and friendly food and atmosphere. Karen went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome with breakfast goodies with a SA local flare. The beds were very comfortable And there were games and puzzles to keep the kids entertained. Karen was able to allow us bring our little spoodle as we had a last minute change of plans and though not yet ready to be officially pet friendly she went out of her way to ensure he was welcome. We would definitely stay here again it’s the perfect place for a relaxing holiday.
Holy moly, what an incredible place to stay. A lovingly refreshed shack on well maintained gardens with an exceptional view. The hosts attention to detail meant that the little touches around the place were thoughtful and homey. Incredibly comfy bed with bamboo topper, electric blankets, and good quality linen. Breakfast provisions and the bottle of wine made our mornings. The guest recommendations are a lovely touch. Communication was top tier and the waterfront walk is just lovely. Honestly one of the nicest bnb’s we’ve stayed, highly recommended!

We are three friends who came for lunch, fell in love with the sleepy town of Clayton Bay and left with a contract on this beautiful cottage. Some things are just meant to be. There's something very special about Clayton Bay and especially 'the boathouse'. There is no option but to relax and fall into its comforting embrace. 'the boathouse' immediately relaxes you and warms your soul. We hope you fall in love with it as quickly as we did.
