Could not have asked for a better stay and Airbnb. This place had everything and a bunch of little things you don’t always see in airbnbs and/or cabins. We usually stay away from new places but this one could not have been better! Close to bourbon trail!

Exactly what we were looking for. Private cabin with all the touches of home. If you love the sounds and views of nature you’ll love this one. We were grilling on the deck while watching a herd of deer quietly feeding in the forest behind the cabin. We took 3 Kayaks down to the lake for a couple days of fishing and kayaking, it was a total blast. It was no cakewalk, bringing them back up the hill, but it was definitely worth it. The evening air was perfect for relaxing around the firepit. The large shower with double shower heads was exactly what we needed to end the day. We slept like babies through the night in some extremely comfortable beds with the softest bedding. We woke up daily to the sounds of nature and cooked a huge breakfast to enjoy while relaxing and talking about the day. This was a fantastic getaway for us. We are looking forward to another visit. Our thanks to our host Mary for a wonderful getaway.
Beautiful, rustic-style cabin, but with the modern creature comforts. Loved the indoor swing!! We also loved staring out of the big picture windows to the peaceful view beyond. Mary was an absolute legend!! We were in town celebrating my 40th birthday, and she left cupcakes for me and even helped us get a reservation for birthday dinner at The Rickhouse (wonderful recommendation for the occasion). As the first guests (but no strangers to Airbnb), we were quite pleased with the attention to detail. We had special towels for removing makeup, good toilet paper (VERY important as most places go with the cheap scratchy stuff), a small table-top fan for hot sleepers (like me), microwave popcorn, coffee pods for the Keurig, and a s’mores maker complete with ingredients!! Also, the downstairs bed is a Sleep Number!! When you want to get away from it all, but still feel nice and cozy, this is the place!!
