We arrived and were shocked to find 4 bedrooms and 3 bathroom when the listing said 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. We called Jacqueline but spoke to someone else who offering a refund that wasn't in line with the value of other 4 bed listings. I sent a text with bank details as requested and didn't hear back so when Airbnb sent a message asking how we found checkin, I decided to raise our frustration via the app. Jacqueline and her partner called us straight away and were confrontational and passive aggressive. They offered a refund that was still lower than market average and said we could accept or leave that evening. We accepted the low offer, afraid of being without a place to stay that evening. The apartments themselves are nice, they lack decor and accessories - one apartment had no cutlery. There were limited cups and plates. They were clean and check in and check out was fine. Now that the listing has been updated it's an ok option for others wanting to be close to the centre.

Jacqueline was a really lovely and helpful host and this property is absolutely amazing. It was a five minute walk to the beach, arcades, and Dreamland amusement park so the location was spectacular! The actual street seemed a bit run down but once we were in the apartment it did not matter in the slightest. The apartment was stunning and very beautifully decorated. I would say that the apartment was lacking some things we would have benefitted from, such as a cutting board, and the rooms could have had slightly more furniture (for example, my partner and I use a laptop to watch TV in our room at night and had to move a bedside table to put it on), but this is obviously a very minimal problem. Be aware that there is no parking but Mill Street car park allows long stay and overnight parking (bit pricey, but understandable given the seaside location, Saturdays are free though!) and is only 5 minutes from the flat. Overall an amazing stay, I would definitely stay here again! :)
