Most special place! Halfway between San Gimignano and Certaldo (10min) Surrounded by vineyards. Check in was smooth. Lara, was kind and very helpful. Security deposit in Euros, no problem. The villa is clean, firm beds and good kitchen. We used this for the night with day trips to San Gimi, Lucca and Panzano (Chianti Classico.). Grocery store (Coop) in Certaldo. We can’t wait to stay again. Thank you!

We stayed 5 nights at this property in early January 2024. It is located approx 4kms from Certaldo and 12 kms from San Gimignano on a narrow winding country road, typical of the area. I believe it is a renovated farm building adjacent to the larger original farm house. The property accurately matches the photos and description in the listing. Based on my experience at the property I would recommend it as a Summer (warm weather) destination but I would not return in winter. The lounge/tv room has no form of heating and the main entrance door does not seal completely. Heating in the other rooms is provided by reverse cycle air conditioners that must be operated at maximum. During our stay we consumed 10 cubic metres of gas used for heating however I was oblivious to where this heat was applied - towel rails or hot water maybe? The host communicated promptly and arranged a visit to a local winery, there was some duplication of communication with another agency (Villas in Med).

We had a lovely week. The property is truly stunning, with amazing views and still close enough to all amenities. Location provided a good base for us to travel around and explore Italy.

Overall a lovely stay on an amazing property! The villa was spacious and absolutely gorgeous. Sadly it was a bit too cool to swim when we visited but the pool was in pristine condition as well. The host was very responsive when messaged, though a bit rushed when interacting in person. The house was beautiful and spacious though some of the appliances didn’t work such as the coffee machine and microwave. The listing has the wrong address so be sure to clarify before you go! A rental car is a must as a heads up, but the host was very clear about that ahead of time. The cleaning fee is also charged out post checkout as a heads up, but was relatively affordable. Overall I would definitely recommend as it was very good value for the property and location!
