Texas Gothic is easily among my favorite AirBnB stays. I don't remember the last time I was in a space so absent from human noise and alive with the sounds of nature. I loved wandering the peaceful town and sitting in either porch of the house. The house itself is full of delightful surprises from decor to layout to architecture to hats, instruments and more. I'm quite certain I'll be back. Mexia is nearby so if you need supplies or restaurants they are an easy drive away from this secluded space.
