This was our second stay at Lilac Cottage, and we were able to confirm that it is by far our favourite place to stay in Scotland. Diane is the most lovely and responsive host, the location is perfect both for peace and also ease of access to Dundee and St Andrews, the rooms and furniture/beds are all comfortable, and everything was absolutely spotless upon arrival. It's truly a gem of a place.

It was a great stay in a quiet neighborhood. A perfect start to our trip. Im pretty sure by the end of our trip we will have wished we stayed longer. If you want a peaceful, comfortable place this is it.

we enjoyed 5 nights at Lilac cottage. so peaceful, private and both cottage and village are chocolate box pretty. close to travel to St Andrews, Dundee and we got the train to Edinburgh a couple of times from Cupar station. Diane and Clive were very welcoming hosts checking in with us periodically to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage was spotless. highly recommend Lilac cottage to others looking for a perfect Scottish break away. Zoë and family

We passed few nights in a lovely cottage to finish our road-trip in Scotland! The location is a very nice tiny village closed to several visit spots. It is a very nice cottage with character and all necessities. For a person enjoying cooking, the kitchen is a very nice one - we enjoyed to take lunch. And at the top of that, Diane is very kind person taking care of you but with a very secret and/or discret service. Thank you - Diane - for sharing her cottage and to participate to our very nice holidays in Scotland. Don’t hesitate to come !

Lilac Cottage is AMAZING! Diane and Clive were so friendly and helpful. Their place was like from a storybook. We absolutely loved it!
