Amanda’s place was the perfect location for an event in town. Very close to the college, but quiet at night. Parking was a little tricky; if you have more than three cars ask for a lot permit ahead of time. The house is perfectly appointed, very comfortable, and Amanda went out of her way to add extra touches that we really appreciated. Communication was easy, friendly and prompt.

A fenced backyard, accepts pets, and big enough to house a large crew - it was a tall order, but thanks to Amanda and her family we had a great eclipse chasing adventure! They were super responsive, proactive, and the house had 5 big bedrooms! It was also walkable to amazing bagels at Bru 64 & NY Bagels, and Hollywood restaurant had amazing takeout. Amanda sent us local info on eclipse watching and sourced glasses for all our family, which was so kind! Thank you for the great trip!

The communication was great and that’s about it. Here is a list of the bad/not so great: -The sheets in the downstairs bed were stained. -The beds felt like full sized and not big enough for two adults. -The fenced in area was a mess. Nails on the ground, fenced messed up in spots, small dogs could get out through opening, shed was open in back with no lock and insulation coming down (unsafe for dogs). The concrete patio before door to house had mud caked on it. We cleaned that up. - not enough towels. In my experience with rentals, there a set for each guest - extra set of sheets, just incase for each bed - it also would have been nice if there was some sort of carpet/runner on the stairs. My daughter slipped on them twice. - the driveway was very steep and we hit the bottom of our car when backing in. - the rooms got very hot at night when the door was shut. Hopefully this feedback helps the next person.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb hosted by Amanda. From the moment I booked, Amanda was incredibly attentive and helpful, ensuring that all my questions were promptly answered and providing excellent recommendations for things to do in the area. The location of the home was perfect, just a short walk from downtown Cortland, making it convenient to explore the town's charming shops and restaurants. The home itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and spacious, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere throughout my stay. Amanda was the epitome of hospitality, going above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed for a great stay. Her attention to detail was evident in every aspect of my experience, from the seamless check-in process to the thoughtful touches throughout the home. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better Airbnb experience. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a great stay in Cortland. Thank you for an amazing experience!
