布鲁克林 · 整套民居 · 5室0床3.0卫 · 可住8人 · 3000SF Mint Park Slope 5BR w/ deck & yard
This remarkable home was meticulously renovated from top to bottom and offers a stunning blend of modern amenities and 19th century detail. With approximately 3000SF of living space spread out over 3 floors (w/ additional access to a garden hall & cellar storage), the home offers an immense parlor floor flooded with natural light w/ living, dining, & gorgeous kitchen, large deck, backyard, 4 huge bedrooms + office / 5th bedroom, laundry, 3 bathrooms, & magazine-worthy finishes and design. The home is situated in a circa 1872 brownstone on a landmarked tree-lined street in Park Slope, one of the most coveted neighborhoods in NYC. It was completely gut renovated while retaining historic details throughout including 6 decorative marble fireplaces, casings around windows and doors, baseboards, ceiling plaster medallions and trim, and more. You enter the home at the top of the stoop and are immediately struck by the light and airy feel with oak hardwood floors, a completely redone original staircase and bannister, soaring ceilings, and incredible natural light from the southern and northern exposures. This floor features a tremendous great room with space for a play area for kids, and living, and includes a dining area with a gourmet chef’s kitchen. With a huge island, tremendous storage, top tier appliances, and immense natural light from the huge windows, this showstopper is punctuated by the fully restored original plasterwork in the ceiling. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything necessary to prepare meals for you and your loved ones. Restored original pocket doors allow separation between the living and dining / kitchen areas and there are beautiful furnishings and decor throughout. The deck off the kitchen has two large chairs, an outdoor sofa and coffee table / storage, as well as a 6 person dining table with umbrella. The space has a discreet green privacy wall as well as bistro lights at night for a magical outdoor drink or dinner. The rear yard has a custom swing set with swings that are easily removable (so that it blends into the aesthetic of the yard when it is not being used) or changeable to various swings. There are numerous swings that come with the home for kids and adults alike! The second floor of the home features the primary suite with two walk in closets, an en-suite bathroom with rain shower, dual vanity, and separate water closet, and original ceiling plasterwork. This south-facing retreat is bathed in natural light. This floor also hosts a hall / linen closet, huge rear bedroom with a queen bed, crib, and rocker for little ones. The stunning large bathroom on this floor has a restored original soaking tub as well as a rain shower. On the top floor of the home, you’ll find a third full bathroom with two sinks and a shower / tub, two very large bedrooms each with its own closet and with twin beds, a full laundry room with large washer and dryer, storage, and sink, and a flex 5th room that can serve as a home office, nursery, fitness room, or 5th bedroom. In the northern facing room you’ll enjoy stunning nighttime views of the Brooklyn skyline and the southern facing rear rooms are bathed in light. The large top floor south-facing bedroom, the primary bedroom of the prior owner, has a fully restored and functional 1870s shaving sink. On the ground floor of the home you’ll find additional storage, space for a stroller or other belongings, a shoe bench with storage and lots of hooks for coats and bags, a hall with additional access to the yard, and below that floor is a full clean and dry cellar with newly finished cement floor for storage of your luggage and belongings. Meticulously renovated from top to bottom for the current owners as their intended forever home, the entire space exudes an airy and inviting warmth. The magazine-worthy home is the space many envision when they think of the quintessential Brooklyn brownstone. Each room in the home has separately controlled AC and heat with discretely hidden linear diffuser vents in the ceilings and soffits and all front rooms have original restored 19th century shutters. All bedroom and living area lights are on dimmers and there are high ceilings on every floor. Please note the garden floor of the home has a separate apartment that may be occupied during your stay or may be booked separately / for an additional cost if you wish to secure the full home. The garden level entry has a shared vestibule for both units.
It can’t be stated enough how accommodating Ari and Maggie were! This felt like our home away from home. Not only were the hosts easy to reach and super friendly, but they made sure our every needs were met. The house is breathtaking! Every detail was thought out and the interior design is stunning while also homey. I know if we get the opportunity, we will be staying there again. The neighborhood is family friendly and if you have kids, there are plenty of bedrooms for little ones. :) We had so many plans to go sightseeing and kept opting for a night in! It was super cozy. The house is spacious and feels really special, especially at night. We loved our time at this lovely home. Would highly recommend!
Park Slope is one of the most sought after neighborhoods in NYC. With picture-book treelined streets, easy access to Prospect Park, the largest park in NYC outside of Central Park and, for many, essentially Central Park without all the people and tourists, ample retail on 5th Avenue and 7th Avenue, and Barclay’s Center, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden at your doorstep, the location can’t be beat. You have virtually every train line in the subway system within a 10 minute walk, are a short walk or Uber away from all of brownstone Brooklyn with downtown Manhattan an easy Uber / taxi or subway ride away. Enjoy some of the best cuisine, coffee, green space, and more in this perfectly situated location in north Park Slope.
