The Caboose is one-of-a-kind Getaway, and we really enjoy our time spent here. In particular, it is little-kid friendly, with a lot of things to explore just around the Caboose itself. The clear instruction, hospitality from the host, along with some convenient items, made our stay smooth, enjoyable and memorable for the whole family.

My children got a kick out of living in a train caboose for a couple of days! There were plenty of places to eat. We were unfamiliar with the area and our GPS wasn’t that great so we got lost a few times but we were on vacation so it really didn’t matter. The twins took the big bed and I ended up on the small day bed with the dog :-) I can’t believe what a great nights sleep I got. The bedding was so warm and comfortable. I slept better than I do at home! The kiddos had a great time even with the bad weather, and that’s what matters. When we were leaving my daughter asked me if we could come back again another time. I think we might!

We had a wonderful stay with our 2 young boys! Our 2 year old was ecstatic when he saw where we would be staying. Highly recommend Pat’s caboose to any train enthusiasts!
