This beautiful villa has a brand new outside area, and really comfort inside, and sleeps up to maximum of eight. The house was carefully restored in 2020 and this year transformed into a comfortable and welcoming fully furnished villa, maintaining the country style, with its own private pool! Accommodation details: Living room, dining room, kitchen, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, one fully bathroom and one wc with separate shower. Facilities: Washing machine, dishwasher, cot available, highchair, WiFi, satellite television, DVD player, central heating (October through April), air conditioning (May through September), open fireplace, barbecue, bicycles for hire, private pool. Services: Bed linen, bathroom towels, and pool towels are provided. There is a weekly linen change, as well as a weekly thorough cleaning of the house, garden, and pool area; fresh flowers are also provided. There is a smaller mid-week cleaning on Thursdays. On arrival guests receive a welcome hamper with basic provisions. The garden and grounds are maintained by a local gardener. Chef/cooking services and babysitting can be arranged, payable locally. Guests are met by the owner of the house. A local contact for assistance, information, and emergencies is provided, and there is a comprehensive information pack on the house and local area. Exterior: Villa Maris enjoys a tranquil setting within the sunbathing terrace where the pool is with a poolside shower, sun loungers, an outdoor table and chairs, and parasols. There is a patio beside the pool area ideal for al fresco dining. Interior: The accommodation is divided over two levels, and the house is beautifully decorated throughout, and furnished with high quality fixtures and fittings. On the lower ground floor are the main living area with an open fireplace, comfortable furniture and the kitchen with the dining room which has a table seating eight, and gives onto an outdoor dining terrace and the wc with separate shower. On the top floor are the two bedrooms with the one bathroom, with a big balcony overlooking the garden and pool area! There is air-conditioning throughout the house! Guests have the entire property to their private use! Full access inside and outside the house! No shared areas! Your hosts and me personally, will take care of all the details of your holiday 7 days per week responsible for your day to day needs – from special dietary requirements to making recommendations and reservations! A short distance northwest of the village Melidoni, is one of the most interesting, both from speleological and archaeological and historical perspective, caves of Crete, Tallaeum Antrum of antiquity, known by the name Gerontospilios. Paved road leads from the village square in front of the cave, where is the newly built church of Panagies.
