Superb house for your holidays located in the heart of Tuscany a few steps from the path of the historic Via Francigena. We are in the municipality of Gambassi Terme, more precisely in the small town of Pillo, where the famous winery that bears his name is located: Villa Pillo. Gambassi Terme is an ancient medieval village, immersed in a hilly landscape among vineyards, olive groves and lush woods. The starting point from which to start each journey to the most famous cities of art such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Siena, but also ancient villages such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Vinci, Certaldo ... and to taste the excellent Chianti wines of the companies nearby. Known since ancient times for its healing thermal water, also known as Pillo salsa water, Gambassi Terme and its Spa are the ideal place for hydropinic and inhalation therapies, where you can find a wellness center where you can relax and let yourself be pampered with personalized massages and treatments. The house has been expertly restored and furnished with taste and refined Tuscan style furniture. On the ground floor there is a large living room with wood-burning fireplace, reading corner and satellite TV and two bathrooms with shower, a laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board and finally a large kitchen equipped with every comfort: hob with five burners, dishwasher, American and espresso coffee machine, oven, two refrigerators with freezer; the kitchen overlooks a large covered veranda where you can dine and relax on the beautiful private garden with built-in BBQ. Going up the stairs we access the upper floor where there are two bedrooms, one of which are double and the other with two single beds, both with a panoramic terrace, as well as a bathroom with shower and an additional relaxation area. On the second and top floor there are three bedrooms, two doubles and one with single beds with panoramic views, as well as a bathroom with shower. Air conditioning is in all rooms and in the common area. We care about the privacy of our guests: the entire structure, the garden and the swimming pool are in fact for exclusive use; Furthermore, to ensure maximum comfort, a system has been installed to naturally remove the most annoying insects. The fully fenced pool area is furnished with garden furniture, such as sun loungers and deck chairs, as well as a patio and a large umbrella. The swimming pool measures 4x8m, about 1.40m deep and open for the period between May and early October. Pets are welcome, please communicate their presence at the time of booking confirmation. For those who wish, on request, it is possible to organize dinners or cooking classes directly in the Villa, wine tasting with the best local producers, visits to educational farms and much more ..
