Kathleen was very helpful to us, giving us heads up about where to fish and when the fishing was great. This was our 2nd year coming to her cabin, and it was just as enjoyable as our first time.

This rustic little cabin is a fantastic getaway. The location is prime: remote enough to feel like you’re really roughing it in the woods while most trails, stores, gas stations, etc. are a 20-30 minute drive away. The cabin features plenty of beds, a sizable yard, and the perimeter is fenced in on two sides with barbed wire, which adds peace of mind against the forest’s more dangerous wildlife (not that I encountered any while up there. It was quiet and peaceful the whole time). As a host, Kathleen is wonderful. Very responsive, easygoing, and understanding. Check in was easy and painless, clear instructions were on the fridge and she was available to contact at any point. 5 stars across the board for this amazing place.

What a sweet rustic place for a family stay. The outdoor space was wonderful and the beds were very comfortable. If you are someone that cooks, the kitchen had everything you would need but I would bring your favorite sharp knife and some other essential utensils. I made due with what was there and everyone was happy. It was the just the "camp cook" that wished for a few other small items;) I just loved the space and hope to be back.

Beautiful cabin. super cozy and comfortable pictures do not do this place justice . nice fire pit with lots of wood for fires 🔥. host was super responsive. can’t wait to come back
