I have a 1 star due to many check-in problems. First, we couldn’t open the lockbox. Erikatina had the other people staying at the upstairs apartment open the door for us, but we could never get a key. They said they will leave the front door open (this lead in a small hallway) and we could get in the apartment with the code. We left the apartment quickly to get dinner and when we came back (11pm) the door was locked and couldn’t get in until 12:30, when Erikatina had someone else bring us an extra set of keys. While we were at dinner she called, but I didn’t recognize the number so didn’t answer . She called to say she brought the keys to us, but placed them in the hallway vase, which didn’t make sense at all because the front door leading into the hallway was locked. After numerous texts and calls to Airbnb support, stuck outside around midnight in not such a great neighborhood we got in the place. This experience was very stressful!

When we arrived, we noticed the unsafe door code as it is very easy to guess. We stayed for 3 hours before noticing the back door has a window that is as big as the door, with no curtain or blinds. This is facing the bus stop and a man was staring for 30 minutes and smiling, obviously trying to make me uncomfortable. The upstairs neighbor was yelling. Upon reaching out to the host, she told me to call the cops if i felt unsafe and that she wasn’t in town to put curtains up or help. I am a 22 year old female and apologized for the inconvenience but explained I wanted to leave. She was very inconsiderate and offered me a $70 refund for staying for 3 hours. I had to drive 2 hours at 10pm to another AirBnb. Then. she messaged me asking if I changed her door code. VERY inconsiderate, not helpful, and unwelcoming. VERY UNSAFE AREA.

Erikatina's place is so Spacious, Beautiful and Very clean! Everything was as expected. The pictures are very accurate! She provided clear instructions for check in and check out. The only thing with the location is that if you're a light sleeper, you may not be able to sleep well. I slept in the first room and I heard every car that passed by the road and every train. But I'm a very light sleeper. Other than that, I LOVED her place! Very nice!
